Join Our Fight
As a student-run organization, we mobilize youth to fight for the rights of our trans siblings. Based in Central Texas, our focus is on defending bills and initiatives that support our values of inclusivity and equality, while pushing against laws that seek to disadvantage or harm transgender youth.

Who We Are
Created by students concerned about the recent slate of anti-trans legislature in Texas, TTYA's main goal is to push back against such bills. Although our main point of action is advocating for change within the legislature, we are also focused on building more tolerant communities. We want to create an environment where trans youth feel safe and supported.

Work We Do
ADVOCACY
Advocacy is the main pillar of TTYA. As the Texas Legislature continues to take actions that directly harm trans youth, we work to make our voices heard. Through lobbying, testimony, and phonebanking, we can take action against harmful policies. Together, we are able to take a stand for values we believe in.
MUTUAL AID
We are always looking to partner with charities, nonprofits, and other organizations to engage in mutual aid. TTYA plans to complete fundraisers and engage in donation drives that allow trans kids to have access to the resources they need to thrive. If you're an organization interested in partnering with us, feel free to reach out!
RESOURCES
TTYA aims to provide education to trans youth and those around them. We are currently compiling resources to aid a wide range of people: from those who may be questioning to those who are medically transitioning. We hope to support change at the social level just as much as the political. If you would like to contribute, please contact us.
